A Delightful La Coqueta Lunch: Celebrating Craftsmanship and Friendship

Earlier this week La Coqueta’s Founder and Creative Director Celia Muñoz hosted an intimate lunch in her London garden, in collaboration with Louise Roe to celebrate the launch of Sharland England’s latest collection.

I was thrilled to host my first La Coqueta lunch this week, opening my home up in collaboration with Louise Roe, the brilliant mind behind Sharland England. We invited friends of our brands for a beautiful afternoon of al fresco dining in my garden, and thankfully the British weather held up so we enjoyed clear skies and beautiful sunshine; making it feel like we were in the Mediterranean.

The table setting was stunning, the food from Posie Hall was divine, and we dined on Sharland England's ceramic splatter plates crafted in Italy, mouth-blown spiral wine glasses and elegant linens. Both La Coqueta and Sharland England are deeply committed to supporting local craftsmanship and creating high-quality pieces meant to be passed down through generations. Each piece is unique and beautifully made, so it only felt natural for our two worlds to collide and result in a beautiful collaboration that champions artisanal craft and quality.

I must also express my greatest admiration and respect for Louise Roe. Her vibrant personality, positive attitude, and effortless energy are truly inspiring. She has a natural talent for making people feel good about themselves. Congratulations, Louise, on creating such a beautiful collection. I'm especially in love with Sharland England's rattan chairs that withstand London's rainy weather without needing to be brought inside.

This event was a wonderful experience, and it will be the first of many. It's always a pleasure to spend time with those who love our brand, and I cannot thank everyone enough for their continued support over the years. It was incredible to see so many familiar faces whose children have worn and loved La Coqueta over the last ten years and spend more time with new friends who have only recently started their motherhood journey. To be sat at a table surrounded by so many inspiring, creative and multi talented women was a true honour.
