La Coqueta's Evelia Girl Hand-Smocked Dress is decorated with a gorgeous retro print of terracotta florals. It's made from lightweight, pure cotton that's shirred through the bodice with contrasting embroidery before falling into a floaty midi skirt. The self-tie bow straps frame a delicate pleated necklace and can be adjusted for the perfect fit. Evelia is the perfect dress for summertime celebrations and exotic trips with family. Inspired by the styles that Founder and Creative Director Celia grew up wearing in her native Granada, skilled seamstresses at our family-owned ateliers in Spain devote 7 hours of hand-smocking to each style, beautifully weaving the traditional yet timeless technique into our clothing and sharing their artisanal craft with every stitch.
