Inspired by the timeless styles Founder and Creative Director Celia Muñoz wore growing up in Granada, the Elsie Girl Empire Dress embodies La Coqueta’s devotion to artisanal craftsmanship and heritage. Expertly crafted from the softest, lightweight cotton, the dress is rendered in a painterly print conceived in-house at the Notting Hill studio. Drawing on vintage botanical illustrations, each delicate motif was first hand-sketched, then digitally refined and printed in small, considered runs in Spain. The resulting palette, soft green and blush pink florals set against a rich red ground is both romantic and effortlessly refined. The empire-line silhouette drapes into a long, floaty skirt that moves gracefully with every step, while layered butterfly sleeves create an ethereal, voluminous finish, subtly traced with wisps of French lace.
